It features a little pearl star that shines in gorgeous purple and green tones.
The white baroque pearls are strung on real silk, with each pearl individually knotted. This is a truly classic method that’s been used for centuries. Not only does it protect the pearls from rubbing against each other, but if the necklace ever breaks (fingers crossed it doesn’t!), the pearls will stay in place and you can just have it reknotted.
The clasp and spacer beads are made of 925 sterling silver. I also added TOHO seed beads to keep the pearls from rubbing directly against the silver. The little star sits off center for a fun, slightly asymmetrical look.
It’s a perfect piece for a summer wedding, or just wear it with a T-shirt to add a little magic to your day.
